This is exciting...I just dove into the slideshow world! And here is my first one...it is a slideshow for that fabulous Texas wedding.
For former clients, if you'd like for me to create a slideshow of past sessions, please let me know. They are shipped to you on a DVD format. One DVD is $250 and if you order more DVD's thereafter, they are $175 each.
Thanks and enjoy!

*{T*E*X*A*S}*
I don't even know where to start with this blog post. This wedding was absolutely spectacular. So much thought went into every aspect of their special day, and when it got down to it, it was all about friends and family celebrating their love. And they went back to their roots on their special day...they tied the knot in the same church as the grooms parents 35 years ago, and the bride and groom portraits were taken on family property that has been in the family for over a century. Every aspect of their special day goes back to who they are as a family and where they have come from. There is nothing like going back home to your family roots...
I felt so honored to photograph Sara and Jason on their special day...*thank you* so much for allowing me to capture the memories.
So here is your sneek peek...Emily, you can stop refreshing your screen...and Sara, calm down...they will always be posted here for you to look at no matter what the time of day or night it is!!!! And trust me, the disc of them all is going to be even better! It was so hard to choose a handful of images for this post!
So this is your tease...you will have to wait for the rest!!! :)
Much love,
m

*{Feed Subscription}*
Just a quick note...I have figured out that my Blogarithm subscription that I've had on my blog is not working properly. So I removed it. :( However, you can still subscribe to my feed by going to the very bottom of the blog and click on "Subscribe to: Posts" and you can use one of the feeds there! I don't want you to miss out on the fun!!!
And another recommendation is using Bloglines. OH MY GOODNESS! This has *changed* my world. If you follow several blogs, go to Bloglines and you can subscribe to all of them right there and they will tell you when your blogs have updated (your updated blogs are in bold color). No more having to go to each individual blog to see if they have updated yet. It saves so much time! So for all you blog-stalkers, check it out...and it's FREE!
Hope this helps!

*{Sweet Home Alabama}*
Well hello ya'all!!!
I am long overdue in this post! However, we have been the traveling clan the past few weeks. When I last left you, my husband and I were on our way to Texas to shoot a wedding...which was *spectacular*. Everything a wedding should be and more. I can't wait to blog the wedding, and it will be the next posting!!! I PROMISE! So we flew to TX for the wedding and then flew home to have packers at our house 36hrs later!
All of our stuff was loaded up and we started our adventure out to Alabama. And we made the trip in true Ocampo style...Washington State to Alabama in 4 DAYS!!! YES...and mind you, that was with two kids (ages 4 and 3) and two cats! We tore across the United States so we could get to our temporary place in Alabama. We are now holding up fort in an apartment for the next few months. Looks like I will take off to CA in November to get our new home established there...where we will at least be for a couple years. So tell all your So Cal friends and family that I will be setting up shop there! I can't wait for all the new things I will roll out with my business when we arrive in Cali. You will have to wait and see!!
Even though we really didn't mess around on the road coming out to Alabama, we did manage to stop and see Mount Rushmore. A matter of fact, here is a pic of our family at the monument. It was a blast and a first for the hubby and the kiddos. They must teach more in preschool now-a-days because as we walked up to the monument, our 4 year old said, "Mommy, there is George Washington!" I wonder if all the adults looking at the monument knew one of the four were George Washington!!?!! :)
So here is a pic to soothe your appetite while I start editing the wedding. And yes, you will notice I *hacked* my hair off!!! At least a solid foot...and it went to the Locks of Love program. Little Mykaela and I both donated hair this summer to that great charity! So I have my fancy inverted bob haircut for the time being...but I'm sure I will get the urge to grow it out long again.
Enjoy the pic and the next post will be all about the great state of Texas. I *love* that state...and we really want to live there one day. I think somehow we have Texas in our blood!

Until next time,
m

Lookie here and you will see who I met, and even shot a bit with...
Ah yes, that is the *amazing* Tara Whitney!!! And no need to email me and tell me how out of focus this photo is...does anyone really care?! IT'S TARA!!!!!! She is an amazing person and her heart is full of gold. I am so happy I had the chance to meet her.
Okay...now on to some pics from the workshop. Here is a quick pick of Cheryl Muhr in action...
And here are some shots I got of some of the kiddos that came out to sacrifice their Saturday afternoon! They were such great kiddos and we all had so much fun...
