*{Urban Flair and a Little Bit of Business}*

Urban sessions are such a blast! I had the pleasure of meeting Miss "M" this past week and she rocked in this shoot! She is lookin' hot! Shooting downtown is such a fun place to shoot, and it is amazing how dirty old brick can be the coolest backdrop ever!! Enjoy the preview Miss "M" and thanks so much for a fun morning!

A little bit of business...I will be taking a few days off this week. So if I don't answer email or phone calls, please be patient and know I will get back to you as soon as I can. And as of now, all sessions for July and August are closed. We are now booking September forward. Book now while we have this great Northwest weather! If you live in the area, you know we are about to enter our 10 months of rain!!!

Have a great weekend!

*{A Little Bit of Sugar}*

I know, I know...I've been bad blogging! I've been horribly busy; not that it's an excuse!

But here are a couple pics from my newborn session this morning. She was such a cutie, and the *strongest* newborn I think I've ever seen! She was just holding her little head up on her own looking all around not wanting to miss a beat...and her head didn't even bobble!! AMAZING!

I feel so blessed that I was able to shoot this family again! I had the pleasure of doing their maternity pictures just a couple of weeks ago. And now, their little bundle of joy celebrated her week old birthday today!

Congrats to the "K" family! And enjoy this little peek of what is to come!

Please feel free to email me directly at lehmann_76@yahoo or phone at 253-961-2114. I will be fixing this problem ASAP!

Thanks for your patience!

UPDATE**** Looks like it is fixed. I've tested it a couple of times and emptied any blocked email addresses from my spam folder! We should be good to go now!

*{Through Their Eyes}*

David Hessemer is doing a blogathon TODAY for his "Through Their Eyes" Africa project. He is going to be taking a team of photographers to Africa next year to remote areas with little aid. In addition to helping the people living there, they will also be teaching them to take photographs, in the hope of giving them a skill, as well as to be able to see the world the way they see it. The photographs they take will be formed into a traveling exhibit all over the country, and funds raised from the project will go straight back to the people. It's really a fantastic project; however, it needs funding to make it happen! Today and tomorrow they are running a blogathon to make that happen. The link where you go to donate and learn more about the project is: http://www.throughtheireyesafrica.typepad.com/
Check it out!

*{Did You Know???}*

A few tidbits...

Did you know the best time to do maternity photos is between your 34th and 38th weeks?! I will always gladly photograph maternity shots after the 38th week...but I just don't want the maternity session to turn into a newborn session!!! It is sort of pushing it after 38 weeks!

Did you know the best time to do newborn photos is within the first 10 days of life?! I even prefer the first week if possible. That is usually when the baby is still in their "crash mode" after delivery and sleeping all day and keeping *you* up all night!!! We can always book the newborn session before baby arrives...this is usually best! We will pencil you in approximately a week after your due date and keep in touch making sure everything is still "on-schedule!"

And last but not least, did you know you can enter your email address in the "Email Subscription" area powered by blogarithm.com to the left and you will get an email alert from them whenever my blog is updated! That way you don't miss a beat!!

Hope you all had a fantastic 4th of July!

Until next time~
