*{Where in the World are the Ocampos Moving?!}*

Drumroll please...

As most of you know, we will be moving to Alabama for a short time this fall.  We will be living in the Huntsville, AL area from September through December.  Tell all your friends.  AND THEN...come December, we will be moving to Fort Irwin, CA.  Right outside of the Barstow area in Southern California!  So tell all your friends in those areas and spread the good word!! :)  We are actually excited because we will be all of 2 and 1/2 hours away from our family in Temecula.  So for all of you in the Temecula area, looks like I will be doing some sessions down there more frequently!

Much love,
m :)

Until then, here are a couple of shots from the last session I am editing until after our "vaca"! And for all you photogs out there, any advice on a blogging site...I am not liking the tint I see in Blogger. Is Typepad any better?!

Until then,

*{*L*O*V*E* this Lady}*

This family is just amazing! I thank God that Mrs. G has come into my life. She is the most amazing woman...phenominal friend, a wonderful mother to three gorgeous girls, and she ALWAYS makes me laugh. Just to tell you what kind of woman she is...she knew my husband was gone this past Thanksgiving, so she showed up at my doorstep on Thanksgiving morning with a couple other friends with a nice warm cup of Starbucks in her hand for me so I knew I was thought of on Thanksgiving. I look up to her a lot. So, enough of the mushy stuff...here are some pics!!

I honestly think this is probably my favorite shot of all three girls together because of Miss L busting out her peace sign! Isn't it precious?!
The lovely G family!
Okay...I have to get off the computer now. It is 7am and I need to go haul all of my garage sale stuff out front. Any one need a crib?! I have two for sale this morning!! My babies are growing up!! And I have Creative Memories stuff GALORE! I am a huge purger! Okay, I have to get rockin'!

Peace Out!

*{I'm In Love}*

And you all thought I was kidding! I am *so* happy with my new Mac. However, I haven't started editing on it yet because the brilliant creators at Adobe think that spending $600 on Photoshop once for a PC isn't enough...you have to buy it *again* when you go Mac! But I keep telling my frugal-self that it will be worth it! Now that I've gone Mac, I don't think I will ever go back. Hopefully I can convert the hubby when it is time for a new computer for him. But for now, our household is cut-off on computers. I think we have a computer for everyone in our household, plus one! *SO* cut-off!

Anyways, I love it and the learning curve isn't kicking my butt yet. But I am sure it will at one point! I mean, how hard can it get to log on and check email, right?! But I do need to figure out the Mac shortcuts...CTRL-C and CTRL-V for copy and paste isn't cutting it on this step-ahead technology! And OMG...they have digital post-it notes for the desktop! I am in love!!! Type A heaven!!!

*{Boys will be boys}*

I had the pleasure of photographing the E Family this past weekend. They always see me out shooting at a park near their house, so they figured it was their turn to jump on the fun-wagon and have some photos taken of their family!!

The lovely Mrs. E with Mr. E...
Can you say, all boys?! And I love the fact that Mrs. E loves her hubby so much that she still kicks her heel up when she kisses him!!
And three of Mr. E's prized possessions...his boys and his Land Rover! I *heart* your car!
Enjoy your gallery...it is live!!

*{A Couple of Favs}*

Okay, so I loved this session! The photos are now posted in the gallery Mrs. P! However, I edited on my laptop because my desktop is SCREAMING for more memory. And my laptop was SO SLOW. You know it is bad when it shows you the green processing bar when all you did was crop your photo in PS! I kid you not, this just gave me the kick in the pants to go Apple. I'm ordering one today...no joke! I am taking the plung head first into the Mac world. And from what all my photog friends say, I will never look back! Wish me luck with the learning curve!
This was the reaction I got from Mrs. P when I asked for her serious face! I *love* it when I do this...because yes, I want a serious face, but this ALWAYS happens and I get the best natural laugh. So I get a great pic of a natural laugh, and then I get the serious face afterward! That is your tip for the day for you photogs out there!

Next up...the E Family and then the G Family...you know who you are!!!

*{Bad News*Good News}*

Okay, bad news...I've been horrible blogging (but I have a legitimate excuse) and I have no pictures to post right now, but good news is I will have some sneek peeks coming soon!

But for right now, I will update you a bit on what has been going on in my world...
First and foremost, my hubby just returned home from a 14 month deployment! YEA!!! It is SO nice having him around again. We have been taking it easy as a family and just sort of taking one day at a time. Picking him up was a blast...we were even able to see his plane land via a live feed! Everyone just broke into cheers of joy! And the fun hasn't stopped since his return...

We took off to the Great Wolf Lodge in Chehalis. It was AWESOME...however, for all of you military out there, call and get your military discount...they knock a big chunk off! So the girls had a blast with dad in the water, and our littlest one got over her fear of the water. All I had to tell her was she was like Nemo if she swam, and for the rest of the day, the only thing out of her mouth was, "Look mommy, I'm Nemo!" And for all of you thinking of going, one night is PLENTY. By the time you swim around all day the day of your check in, and then you also have access all day the day you check out, you are so water-logged you can't imagine spending another night. And yes, there is stuff for kids of all ages.

Then for Father's Day, we took off to the Mariners game up in Seattle. Now, I must admit, I am a So Cal Team kinda girl...gotta love my Padres and Chargers. However, Seattle has got it going on with the food! I felt like I was at a carnival! So many choices; however, I made a deadly one! Have any of you tried the garlic fries?! SO GOOD! BUT, I feel so bad for my husband...the poor guy will not want to kiss me for a full week! I have been brushing my teeth and rinsing like there is no tomorrow...and if that isn't enough, I've been pounding the gum! I *Don't* want to be one of those people that have that God-awful garlic breath! I am hoping tomorrow will be better. I do think they need a disclaimer on those fries for how you are going to smell for the next week after eating them!

And how about those gas prices! We spent $165 in one day filling up both vehicles. How much does that stink!!! My husband was the one that really about croaked at the pump. When he deployed, gas was HALF of what it is now. However, I'll pay the prices as long as I can continue to live in this country! But it still is a little crazy. And not that I want to fuel the fire, but I heard $5 a gallon by the 4th of July. And then someone told me $7 by Christmas...ah, yeah, we won't be driving or flying home for the holidays if that is what it will be!

Okay...I'm off to enjoy the family. But I did have a few sessions Saturday...so more photos to follow this week!

Have a great week ya'all!
